Modern domestic education establishes a competency-based paradigm of education, which involves the search of new concept-methodological basics, models of higher professional education specialists training, reframing of State Educational Standards. The authors analyzed domestic and foreign standards of prospective teaching engineers training. On the basis of the analysis there are emphasized professional competencies, which are considered to be distributed into general professional and specific-professional ones. The paper outlines the Temporary Standard of the higher education of Ukraine which envisages bachelors training on a specialty 015.10 «Professional education (computer technologies)». The standard goal determines the formation of integral competency, overall competencies, professional competencies by type of activity (production engineering, industrial-technological, institutional and management, educational-research (innovative). The normative content of higher professional education applicants training is formulated within the time limits of training results. The article offers the compliance matrix, specified by Competency Standard, which is congruent with NQF descriptors, and the compliance matrix established by the Education Results and Competence Standard.

This article is a review and critical analysis of classical, traditional and modern, innovative teaching methods of ELSP. There were studied and stipulated the main trend of methods development as well as the factors determining their choice in accordance with the requirements of the target audience due to the moment, the professionally oriented curriculum. The author makes an attempt to identify the advantages and disadvantages of modern and traditional approaches to a foreign language teaching, indicates the ways of their effective use, offers a synthesis of classical and modern methods on the basis of personal research and experience.

The article deals with the trends and development prospects of the higher education system, majoring in “Food Technologies”, taking into account up-to-date requirements to global and European integration processes. The attention is drawn to the trends of multiple-level system, individualization, fundamentalization, differentiation of the higher education. Educational process concept in process of training of food technology experts is disclosed. One of the options to implement the student-oriented approach is offered by means of introduction of elective courses system of various categories in curriculum: minor, major and free minor. The principle of free selection of courses makes the student’s individual plan unique, provides opportunity to obtain required professional competence, technical and functional knowledge and skills in process of training, as well as competence to meet own creative and personal demands. The necessity to implement the practice-oriented education is proved.

Information and Communication Technologies at Education

In modern terms means information and communication technologies are the main lever when forming the practical part of training future specialist. Informatization of Education encourages the development of new approaches to exploit the potential of information and communication technologies should facilitate personal development of students, improve the creativity of their thinking.

The article examines the use of information and active approach to the study of general physics course, realized through the development of electronic textbooks, strengthening the role of independent work. All this creates the right conditions for the educational process as a dynamic system that provides intellectual development of students, taking into account their individual aptitudes, allows you to create generalized professional competence and motivation to learn.

Shown concrete structure electronic textbooks on general physics course developed using wiki portal and object-oriented learning environment Moodle.

The article discusses the process of designing and developing of web portal "Primary school online" structure for primary school teachers. Existing web resources were analyzed and it was determined that they do not pay enough attention to computer science in elementary school, not fully provide communication and information sharing among users, present not much information on web technologies usage, they are limited by summaries of lessons, guidelines and manuals, they have problems with structure integrity that would reflect primary school teacher versatility. The article deals with the concept of portal, its designing stages, determines the aims, objectives, audience for  which web portal is designed, explores the concept of web resources and their usage at various stages of the learning process. The notion of information structure and a means of its design, such as intelligence-card, are considered.  Its own web portal structure "Primary school online" is developed, it has its own characteristics and differs from existing ones. WordPress was chosen among the examined CMS, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, MODx, OpenCart. Besides, the article highlights the main features of WordPress, which provide easy creation and subsequent usage of web resource for primary school teachers.
