Journal mission and aims
The journal “Engineering and Educational Technologies” is a specialized scientific publication that provides a platform for the exchange of advanced ideas, research findings, and practical experience in the field of educational sciences, as well as for presenting theoretical and applied innovative research in education.
Main Aim of the Journal to promote the development of science and education by presenting the latest achievements in the field of educational technologies, teaching methodology, the implementation of information and communication technologies, and innovative methods of organizing the educational process.
Main objectives of the journal
- Publication of research results in the field of pedagogical science and education development.
- Presentation of innovations in the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process.
- Review of current trends in the development of vocational education.
- Dissemination of new forms and methods of organizing the teaching and educational process in higher education institutions.
- Facilitating scientific exchange and cooperation among researchers in the field of education, lecturers, teachers, and mentors.

Target audience
The journal is aimed at scholars, lecturers, researchers, postgraduate and doctoral students, and representatives of educational institutions engaged in the development of pedagogical science and the implementation of advanced educational technologies, as well as practitioners seeking to integrate research findings into educational practice, and international academic partners studying the development and innovations of Ukrainian education.
International standards and digital identification
Since June 1, 2018, all journal articles have been assigned a DOI, ensuring international identification.
Languages of publication and periodicity
The journal accepts articles in Ukrainian and English.
The journal is published four times a year.
Founder and publisher
The founder of the journal is Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University. The publication operates in accordance with international standards of scientific communication and publication ethics.
Issue numbering
In 2018, the journal’s issue numbering format was changed.
Previously, the issue number was formatted as Issue 3(23); currently, it is Vol. 6, No. 3.

History of establishment and development
The journal was founded in February 2013 under the title “Engineering and Educational Technologies in Electrical and Computer Systems.” Its primary aim was to address the modernization of teaching methods and technologies for students in technical specialities. During its development, the editorial board decided to shift the focus toward educational sciences, which led to a change of title to “Engineering and Educational Technologies” in December 2014. Since November 7, 2018, the journal has been included in Category “B” of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine in the field 011 “Educational, Pedagogical Sciences.”
The editorial board envisions the journal’s development as follows:
- expanding the editorial board with the involvement of international experts and enlarging the pool of reviewers
- increasing the number of publications
- transition of the journal to the OJS platform
- inclusion in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
The journal “Engineering and Educational Technologies” continues its mission by promoting the integration of science and education, the development of innovative approaches to teaching, and the assurance of high standards in the quality of scientific research
