Publication Algorithm
1. The author downloads the article template
- The article template includes page settings, headings, abstracts, the main text, and the list of references
- The template helps authors keep track of the article length and provides clear editorial guidelines regarding the recommended structure and arrangement of the material
- At the end of the template, there is an automatic section for determining the number of pages and the equivalent printed sheets of the completed article
2. The author formats the article using the template
Before submission, ensure that:
- The article has not been submitted to another journal
- All authors have agreed
- ORCID identifiers are provided for all authors
- The file is in the required format
- The article structure has been followed
- The references have been formatted
3. The author uploads the completed article via the registration form
- Carefully complete all fields of the registration form; based on this information, reviewers are selected in a way that avoids conflicts of interest
- The article file name must include the surname of the corresponding author and the submission date, for example:
Tourmalinova 2026.01.30
4. The technical editor checks the article for plagiarism and compliance with formatting guidelines
- A plagiarism check is conducted by StrikePlagiarism
- The originality of the article must be at least 80%
- Permissible borrowings include properly formatted quotations, references to sources, commonly used terminology, names of institutions, standard methodological formulations, and the list of references
- Impermissible borrowings include improper textual borrowings without appropriate citation; self-plagiarism (reuse of substantial parts of one’s previously published work without proper reference); and compilation of material without adequate scholarly analysis
- The final decision on the manuscript’s acceptability is made by the editorial board, taking into account not only the quantitative similarity index but also the nature of the detected matches
- The abstract should be presented in a structured format (Example of Annotation)
- The list of references is formatted according to DSTU 8302:2015 for the Ukrainian version and according to APA style for the English version (Example of References).
5. The Editorial Board makes a decision regarding the acceptance of the article; the technical editor sends a notification of the Editorial Board’s decision to the corresponding author
6. The accepted article is forwarded to reviewers for evaluation
- A double-blind peer review is conducted
- Reviews are completed using a standardized form
- Peer review period — 2–4 weeks
7. The technical editor sends the reviewers’ comments to the corresponding author
- One week is allocated for addressing the reviewers’ comments
8. The author sends the final version of the article and the electronic copy of the signed licensing agreement to the journal’s email address
9. Final Stage
- The technical editor prepares the layout of the issue
- The technical editor coordinates the layout with the authors and provides the payment details for publication fees
- The authors pay the publication fee and send the electronic copy of the payment receipt to the journal’s email address
- The technical editor publishes the issue on the journal’s website and notifies the authors about the release of the journal issue
Manuscript Processing Timeline
- Compliance check with formatting requirements, plagiarism screening, editorial board decision on manuscript acceptance, and assignment of reviewers — 1–2 weeks
- Peer review — 2–4 weeks
- Manuscript revision — 2–3 weeks
- Acceptance for publication and approval by the editorial board — 1 week
- Typesetting, payment processing, and publication on the journal website — 2 weeks
Average processing time — 8–12 weeks.

Payment Terms
Publication in the journal is paid.
Cost for articles in Ukrainian – 700 UAH (regardless of the number of pages).
Cost for articles in English – 300 UAH (regardless of the number of pages).
The editorial board accepts for free publication single-authored articles submitted by third-cycle (doctoral) higher education students enrolled in state-funded (budget) programs, provided that the manuscripts comply with the established requirements and the principles of academic integrity.
Since the journal is electronic, the main costs include layout preparation, website maintenance, and DOI assignment.
Reviewers have benefits when publishing articles.
Reviewing is free of charge and voluntary.

- at list 9 full pages
General Requirements:
- file format – *.docx; pages without hyphenation or page breaks; line spacing – single; font – Arial Narrow, 12 pt, regular style
Page format:
- A4; all margins 2 cm; distance from the top edge of the page to the header – 1.25 cm; distance from the bottom edge of the page to the footer – 1.25 cm

- Font: Arial Narrow, 16 pt, bold, centered alignment, spacing before 12 pt and after 6 pt
Authors’ names:
- Font: Arial Narrow, 12 pt, bold, centered alignment. Spacing after: 6 pt. Initials are separated by a space
Organization name:
- Font: Arial Narrow, 10 pt, centered alignment. Full organization name, followed by a comma, then city, country
Abstract:
- Font: Arial Narrow, 10 pt. Left and right indentation: 1 cm; justified alignment. 2000 characters. Ends with keywords (3–6 words or phrases)
Main text of the article:
- Font: Arial Narrow, 12 pt. First-line paragraph indentation: 1 cm. Justified alignment
Tables:
- Centered alignment. A blank line is placed before the table title. A 6 pt spacing is set after the table title. A blank line is placed after the table. Tables are placed immediately after the text in which they are first referenced, or on the following page. All tables must be referenced in the text. Each table must have a title and a number
Figures:
- Centered alignment. A blank line is inserted before the figure and after its title. A 6 pt spacing is applied before the figure title. Figures are placed immediately after the text in which they are first referenced, or on the following page. All figures must be referenced in the text. Each figure must have a title and a number. Figures may be presented in color, black-and-white, or grayscale. Figures must not be created using built-in MS Word functions; only standard image formats (JPEG, TIFF, etc.) are allowed
Formulas:
- It is permitted to use the built-in equation editor for typesetting formulas, provided that the main font size of 12 pt is maintained
References (in Ukrainian):
- The reference list is provided in the original language. Reference text: hanging indent 0.7 cm, justified alignment. References must be formatted in accordance with the national standard DSTU 8302:2015. In-text citations are given in square brackets in the order of appearance
References:
- The reference list in English is provided in full, duplicating the list of used literature, regardless of whether foreign sources are included. The reference list must be formatted in accordance with the APA standard. Transliteration of bibliographic data is performed in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2010, No. 55 “On the regulation of transliteration of the Ukrainian alphabet into Latin characters” (for the Ukrainian language).
Author information:
- Font: Arial Narrow, 10 pt, left alignment. Information is provided in both Ukrainian and English. The English version of authors’ names must match the data in the international passport. If no passport is available, authors’ names should be transliterated from the state language in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 27, 2010, No. 55.
