Educational information visualization of the discipline "Intelligent and Information Systems" using Adobe Animate

Abstract

The article deals with visualization of educational information of the discipline "Intelligent and Information Systems" using Adobe Animate. It is determined that the quality of students' learning depends on the quality of educational content and its visualization. It is established that one of the newest technologies is the creation and use of interactive electronic posters, which are a means of presenting and mastering educational material, increasing student activity and interest in studying the necessary educational content of the discipline "Intelligent and Information Systems". The popularity of using Microsoft Office PowerPoint for visualization of educational content is substantiated. and pointed out some of the shortcomings of the environment as a means of creating interactive electronic posters. Examples of services for creating interactive electronic posters available on the Internet (Gloster, ThingLink, Genial.ly, Canva, H5P etc.) are given, elements of interactivity that teachers can use in the process of conducting classes with students are identified. The Adobe Animate system was considered as an environment for the visualization of educational material for the first time. The possibility of using the Adobe Animate system as a tool for creating interactive electronic posters has been proved on the created poster example, designed to visualize the educational content of the discipline "Intelligent and Information Systems". The example of the interactive electronic poster "Unmanned Vehicle" created by the authors proves that Adobe Animate is not only a good vector editor and environment for creating animation, but also a powerful environment for visualizing educational material. Namely, a tool for creating interactive electronic posters. In a specific example, it was proved that in Adobe Animate you can create interactive electronic posters with the subsequent use of the following interactivity effects: the ability to open and close the corresponding entries; the ability to make certain images visible and invisible, the ability to create tooltips. The authors suggest that the Adobe Animate system hides many unexplored opportunities for use in education, as this environment is a good vector editor and has a built-in Java Script programming language. The lecturer has the opportunity to use interactive electronic posters created in Adobe Animate on his own website or in his own electronic textbooks.
