Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the current problem of a new form of violence that manifests itself in the virtual communication environment and affects not only children, but also young people and adults - cyberbullying (cyberviolence). The purpose: to consider the impact of bullying, namely its subtype of cyberbullying, on secondary school students, since now, unfortunately, the number of cases of cruelty to other people has increased significantly. The paper examines the basic definition of this concept, its origin and spread, stages of formation and development, characteristic features and cause-and-effect relationships of bullying, as well as various areas of its manifestations. The study combines theoretical and experimental approaches. The theoretical component involves the analysis of educational standards, curricula, pedagogical literature, synthesis of methodological principles, and modeling of educational processes. The experimental aspect includes the development and implementation of pedagogical experiments in real educational settings. The article reviews both national and foreign research on the problem of cyberbullying, which allows for a comprehensive and thorough assessment of the problem's theoretical formulation. The author also presents the results of a survey conducted by the author. The concept of bullying has always been present in every generation, but in today's world, children and young people have been able to use technology to increase the damage they do and reach more people. Intentionally causing harm using computers, phones and other devices is called cyberbullying. They are used to harass, threaten, humiliate, or annoy. It has also become popular to create pages on social media that may be designed to ridicule or blackmail, as well as to shoot and upload videos that ridicule victims. As a result of the full-scale invasion, the number of internally displaced persons has increased. This, in turn, has led to an increase in the number of people with different religions, different orientations, different views on life, unique appearance and other factors that make us all different. As a result of these changes, the phenomenon of bullying has become increasingly popular. Both children and adults can suffer from bullying. It can happen everywhere: at school, at work, and even at home. Bullying can negatively affect emotional, social, and intellectual development. The current problems of cyberbullying are investigated, the causes of its emergence are identified, and solutions to the problem are proposed. The article offers a questionnaire methodology developed by the author to identify the frequency of cyberbullying.
