Formation of Legal Culture and Professional Competence of Bachelor's Students of Law Specialties by Means of Distance Learning

Abstract

To develop and test a distance learning system for the professional training of future lawyers in the context of digital transformation of education, in order to develop key competencies in the legal field and improve the efficiency of the educational process. The study focuses on the integration of modern distance technologies, simulations, case studies and interactive teaching methods to ensure that professional training meets the requirements of the modern labor market. Methodology. The study combines theoretical and experimental approaches. The theoretical part includes the analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, educational standards and the study of best practices of domestic and foreign universities. The experimental part involves the implementation of distance education systems in the educational process, evaluation of their effectiveness through surveys of students and teachers, analysis of learning outcomes and implementation of new approaches. To achieve this goal, we used modelling of the educational process, multimedia technologies, online tools for interactive learning and interdisciplinary approaches. Results. The proposed distance education system has shown significant results in improving student motivation, academic performance and practical professional skills. Through training in a virtual courtroom, interactive exercises and simulations, students were able to acquire key competencies such as analyzing legal norms, drafting legal documents and solving practical situations. As a result of the pilot course, students' academic performance improved by 15-20%. Teachers noted the practical value of the new method, in particular its interactive nature and the convenience of distance learning. Originality The proposed distance learning system is innovative in the context of legal education, as it combines the latest digital technologies, interactive teaching methods and adaptability to individual student needs. Unlike traditional approaches, the system is aimed at active application of knowledge through modelling real professional situations. Practical value. The results of the study can be used to modernize law curricula, develop online courses and improve the skills of teachers. The proposed system ensures high-quality training of future lawyers who are able to effectively apply the acquired knowledge in real professional situations.
