Abstract
The paper is devoted to improving the approach to teaching and developing children through interactive educational games. It is proposed to improve this approach by using the developed information system for conducting educational games aimed at children under the age of 4. The aim of the study is to design an interactive game system for the development of preschool children's cognitive abilities, in particular, memory, attention, logic, and reaction, in a form that helps prepare them for school. The system was designed using a structured approach with UML diagrams (precedents, classes, communication, sequences, states, components, and deployment). The development was carried out in four stages: system architecture, function automation, interface design, and data protection. A prototype of an educational game system was created that provides convenient user interaction with the interface, automatic verification of answers, generation of personalized recommendations, and storage of statistics. A complete set of UML diagrams is presented that reflect the logic, structure, and operation of the components. The implemented system demonstrates in practice the possibility of effective preparation of children for school through gamified learning. A holistic model of a learning platform for preschoolers based on modern approaches to gamification and personalization of learning is proposed. A feature of the system is a clear modeling of interaction and architecture using UML tools, which allows it to be flexibly adapted to changing educational needs. The developed system can be integrated into preschool and preparatory educational programs as an auxiliary tool for teachers and parents. It can also be used in studies of the effectiveness of children's cognitive development using information technology.
